KUB Pentron® indexable insert solid drill with straight shank 2×D

The KUB Pentron® indexable insert drill from Komet is a highly advanced tool designed for precise drilling under extreme machining conditions. With a cylindrical shank and a hole tolerance of ⌀D − 0.1 / + 0.2, this drill offers excellent dimensional accuracy and is ideal for demanding applications. The special surface treatment and robust base body strength ensure a long service life and high performance. The drill is equipped with identical internal and external indexable inserts, which makes inventory management more efficient. Additionally, it allows for axial offset drilling up to a maximum offset height of 0.25 mm, increasing flexibility in application. The KUB Pentron® is available in various versions, including 2×D and 3×D with ABS® shank, and can also be supplied in inch sizes upon request. The delivery includes clamping screws, but no indexable cutting inserts, allowing for individual customization to meet specific machining requirements.
