The HSS CO Hand Tapping Set M from Ks-Tools is a high-quality tool set specifically designed for thread processing. Made from cobalt-alloyed high-speed steel (HSS), this set offers excellent performance and durability. It includes three different taps suitable for creating M24x3 threads. The taps are manufactured according to DIN 352 and comply with the tolerances of ISO 2/6H, ensuring precise and reliable thread production. The right-hand cutting taps are suitable for both through and blind holes and feature back-ground flanks that allow for improved chip removal. With an overall length of 110 mm, these tools are ideal for use in unalloyed and low-alloy steels up to a strength of 900 N/mm², as well as in ductile cast iron and non-ferrous metals. The uncoated surface of the taps provides high corrosion resistance and ease of handling.
