The HSS CO Hand Tapping Set M from Ks-Tools is a high-quality tool set specifically designed for threading in various materials. With a thread size of M22x2.5 and a robust construction made of cobalt-alloyed high-performance steel, this set offers excellent performance and durability. The set includes three different taps: a taper tap, a plug tap, and a bottoming tap, all manufactured according to DIN 352 and featuring a tolerance in accordance with ISO 2/6H. The right-hand cutting taps are ideal for processing through and blind holes and have back-ground flanks that ensure precise and clean machining. The uncoated surface of the taps allows for smooth usage and reduces wear. This set is particularly suitable for unalloyed and low-alloy steels up to a strength of 900 N/mm², as well as for ductile cast iron and non-ferrous metals.
