Knuchel Kunstharz-Emaillack Brillant

Brillant synthetic resin enamel lacquer is a long oil, high gloss and slightly thixotropic alkyd resin lacquer with very good processing properties such as flow, stability and open time. It produces extremely full-bodied, elastic, impact and shock-resistant coatings with high opacity and good edge coverage. Brilliant has excellent light and weather resistance and offers good gloss stability. Area of application: For high-quality surface protection on wood and metal in interior and exterior areas such as doors, windows, chairs, cupboards, furniture, railings, panelling, soffits, etc. Pre-treatment: The substrate must be clean, dry (no more than 15 % wood moisture) and free from sanding dust, oil, wax and other contaminants. Sand old coats or leach with leaching powder. Intermediate sanding with 180-220 grit can be carried out. Do not apply at temperatures below 8 °C. Drying: Dust-dry after approx. 3 hours. Hand dry after approx. 6 hours. Can be recoated after 12 hours. Completely dry after 1-2 days (depending on temperature, humidity and layer thickness).
