The Knipex-Werk compact bolt cutter 71 31 160 SB features a robust cutting edge with a recess that cuts through the toughest round materials in just one operation. It offers extremely high cutting performance with a handy length of 160 mm. The small, slim head allows for very good accessibility. This compact and powerful tool cuts bolts, nails, rivets, etc., up to a diameter of 4.8 mm. The hardness of the cutting edge is approximately 64 HRC, and the efficient leverage mechanism requires less force. The laser-engraved cutting edge reduces slipping of the cutting material. Additionally, it has a gripping surface under the joint to grasp and pull wires with a diameter of 1.0 mm. The cutting edges have a recess to facilitate cutting larger cross-sections and provide better leverage near the pivot point.
