The original Philips claw disc has proven itself in practice thousands of times. Specifically designed for the hoof care of cattle, the claw disc impresses mainly with its extremely long lifespan.

The configuration indicates how densely or widely the carbide pieces are distributed on the claw disc. The advantage of a wide configuration is that hoof shavings cannot easily get stuck between the carbide pieces, thus preventing the disc from becoming dirty quickly. This allows for significantly more hoof treatments before the claw disc needs to be cleaned. A dense configuration, on the other hand, is recommended for very hard hooves, which is especially the case with frequent grazing of cattle.

For skilled users and hoof care professionals, we recommend the double-sided versions. Different grits and configurations on the front and back allow for optimal hoof care.
