To enjoy a pool for a long time, it is important to clean it regularly. This is where the HECHT 302111 sand filter system with pump comes in. The HECHT sand filter system has a capacity of 12 kg of sand (not included). The sand used should have a grain size of 0.4-0.8 mm. With the HECHT sand filter system with pump, approximately 5 m³ of water can be filtered per hour. To prevent damage to the pump, the system is equipped with a coarse dirt pre-filter. The power consumption of the pump is 200 W. The HECHT 302111 filter system is equipped with 32/38 mm hose connections (hoses not included). This filter system features a 7-way valve. Most of the time, the valve is set to filter mode. In this mode, the pool water passes through the filter sand, which retains impurities, and the cleaned water is returned to the pool. By switching the valve to backwash, the water flows in the opposite direction in the filtration system. The sand is cleaned, the settled impurities are released, and the dirty water is discharged into the sewage system. In rinse mode, the water then flows in the normal direction but is again directed into the drain. This mode allows the sand to settle back in the container, where more settled dirt can be loosened and flushed out of the pool. The last mode of the valve is winterization. This position is used when the pool is out of operation. When handling the valve, the pump must be turned off; otherwise, the valve may be damaged!.
