Harmsco HIF activated carbon cartridge

The HAC-10-W Harmsco activated carbon water filter cartridge measures 9.75 x 2.75 inches, designed for use in high chlorine content applications in most standard 10-inch filter housings. Its high dirt-holding capacity and enhanced contaminant removal are achieved through a filter medium made of 100% coconut carbon and polyolefin fibers, which are wet-formed and thermally bonded to prevent channeling and bypass. The result is a two-stage depth filtration that reduces dirt, rust, sediments, sludge, chlorine taste, and odor in your water with a nominal rating of 5 microns. The filter life of this cartridge is 5,000 gallons for chlorine reduction and 500 gallons for organic chemical reduction. This filter is suitable for a variety of applications, from commercial drinking water to seawater filtration and pre-filtration of reverse osmosis systems, among others.
