This was the goal behind the development of the Hankook Kinergy 4S2. The tire compound, featuring a high proportion of natural raw materials, ensures excellent grip even in low temperatures, while the extra-wide grooves effectively channel water and slush away to the sides. Even in summer heat, the tire impresses with short braking distances thanks to its robust block structure. The performance package of the Kinergy 4S2 is further enhanced by low rolling noise due to the zig-zag pattern in the center of the tread.
Wide lateral grooves improve water displacement through broad and sharply angled channels. The concave profile bridge provides 4% higher block stiffness and optimized handling characteristics. The serrated tread edge maximizes edge effects in snow and enhances driving behavior in winter conditions.
The innovative tread compound is based on renewable resources and offers excellent wet grip as well as secure traction even at low temperatures. The seamlessly reinforced belt cover ensures high tread stability. Two wide steel belt layers, combined with a stable sidewall, contribute to a long lifespan.
The balanced carcass line made of polyester enhances the stability and durability of the sidewall. The use of special bead fillers ensures stable handling and steering behavior. An ultra-strong bead core improves uniformity and ensures a good fit on the rim.
