The tire compound, which contains a high percentage of natural raw materials, ensures excellent grip even in low temperatures, while the extra-wide grooves effectively channel water and slush away to the sides. Even in the heat of summer, the tire impresses with short braking distances thanks to its robust block structure. The performance package of the Kinergy 4S2 is completed by low rolling noise due to the zig-zag pattern in the center of the tread.
Wide lateral grooves enhance water displacement through broad and sharply angled channels. The concave profile bridge provides 4% higher block stiffness and optimized handling characteristics. The serrated tread edge maximizes edge effects in snow and improves driving behavior in winter conditions.
The innovative tread compound is based on renewable raw materials and offers excellent wet grip as well as secure traction even at low temperatures. The seamlessly reinforced belt cover ensures high tread stability. Two wide steel belt layers, combined with a stable sidewall, provide a long service life.
The balanced carcass line made of polyester improves the stability and durability of the sidewall, while the use of special bead fillers ensures stable handling and steering behavior. The ultra-strong bead core enhances uniformity and ensures a good fit on the rim.
