Haix Protector Ultra Class 2.0 GTX

High-quality processed upper material. The Haix Protector Ultra 2.0 GTX features a hydrophobic and breathable upper made of suede with a thickness of 2.8 - 3.0 mm. The seamless sides additionally reduce wear.

Lining and breathability. The lining provides waterproofing and breathability with the well-known Gore-Tex® Performance. The abrasion-resistant fleece interlayer, combined with the HAIX® Climate System that utilizes the pumping motion generated while walking, transports moisture through the ventilation openings in the shaft and tongue, ensuring optimal climate comfort in all seasons.

Cut protection and safety. The Protector Ultra 2.0 GTX offers protection with its cut protection class 2 (24 m/sec.) according to EN ISO 17249:2013 for potential unpleasant incidents with a chainsaw. Additionally, the anatomically shaped and padded HAIX® Protective toe cap protects the toes.

Reliability and comfort. The stable, abrasion-resistant VIBRAM rubber/PU sole is excellent for any terrain and is torsionally stiff and shape-stable, which leads to reduced localized pressure. The PU cushioning wedge in the sole, with its lightweight design, provides greater rolling comfort and good impact absorption. Furthermore, the sole is heat and fuel resistant and non-marking according to EN ISO 20345:2011. The comfortable insole is both cushioning and moisture-wicking, and the separate heel cups ensure good foot guidance and cushioning. The soft padded and stretchable shaft end offers excellent wearing comfort and protects against dirt (e.g., sawdust) with rubber toe and heel protection. The shoe is completed with a two-zone lacing system that allows for separate adjustment of the shoe in the foot and shaft areas.
