Gränsfors Hunting axe

As the name suggests, the Gränsfors Hunter's Axe is not only suitable for processing wood but is also perfect for use by hunters, as it cuts meat with absolute precision. The rounded neck without sharp edges is also ideal for skinning. A regular axe with a straight neck and sharper edges can easily damage the skin. Are your hands wet or sticky? That's not a problem either, as the rounded notches on the handle provide a good grip. The shape of the blade guard is designed to cover the edge and the upper part of the neck. When transporting the axe on your backpack, it prevents the axe head from cutting into the backpack. An axe is only as good as its blacksmith - all axes made by Gränsfors Bruk are hand-forged. The steel used comes from Ovako, which is sourced exclusively from recycled scrap metal. The steel has been specifically developed for creating the perfect axe head. It is neither too hard, too soft, nor too flexible.
