Gränsfors Forestry axe

The Gränsfors forest axe transfers power exceptionally well with its long handle. Additionally, the curved blade allows you to fell spruce and pine trees with their resinous wood effortlessly. The forest axe is also suitable for limbing fallen trees. The shape of the blade guard is designed to cover the edge and the upper part of the neck. When transporting the axe in your backpack, it prevents the axe head from cutting into the backpack. An axe is only as good as its blacksmith - all axes made by Gränsfors Bruk are hand-forged. The steel used comes from Ovako and is made exclusively from recycled scrap metal. The steel has been specially developed for creating the perfect axe head. It is neither too hard, too soft, nor too flexible.
