Automatically optimised watering in a set. With the Gardena Select watering controller, watering can be planned flexibly and individually. Up to three different and independent schedules can be created. The controller is battery-operated (1 x 9 V, not included), is connected directly to the tap and is easy to operate with just one turn and press button to select and confirm the data. An easy-to-read LC display shows all settings at a glance. The weatherproof control unit is removable. In combination with the innovative soil moisture sensor, it ensures water-saving irrigation in line with requirements. The existing soil moisture is measured and forwarded to the irrigation controller. If the soil is still sufficiently moist, the upcoming watering cycle is skipped. In this way, the plants automatically receive reliable and precise care while saving water at the same time. Thanks to its compact size, the battery-operated (2 x AA 1.5 V, not included) soil moisture sensor can not only be used in lawns or flower beds, but is also suitable for smaller plant pots. The sensor has a particularly low height and a flat surface so that it does not interfere with lawn care. Both lawnmowers and robot lawnmowers can easily drive over the sensor. The five metre long connection cable enables flexible installation and can be extended as required with an extension cable available as an accessory.
