Product details

The extra-long splitting axe X36 from Fiskars with an L-blade is ideal for splitting large logs with a diameter of over 30 cm. The new, improved blade design with a wider blade and splitting wedge enhances performance and makes it easier to remove the blade from the wood. The patented blade sharpening ensures a sharper edge and excellent cutting performance. The double-hardened blade made of forged steel keeps its edge sharp for longer. The low-friction coating on the blade glides over the wood and protects it from corrosion.

The ultralight and durable design of the FiberComp axe is nearly unbreakable and offers excellent protection against breakage. The perfect weight balance provides more power when striking. The oversized SoftGrip handle zone with strategic texturing improves comfort and control. The handle end features a hook for added safety in the hand. The included sheath protects both the blade and the user. Designed in Billnäs, Finland, based on over three and a half centuries of experience in manufacturing the best forging tools in the world. Length: 915 mm.
