Product details
Finger gestures instead of mechanical buttons, keys, or dials: For the 12.81 timer, FINDER uses the smartphone to program this type of device. NFC is used as the interface for this patent-pending process. Near Field Communication makes it very easy to communicate between smartphone and electronic device.
Apps for the smartphone have the charm of being clear and intuitive to use. FINDER has brought this convenience to the 12.81 time switch via NFC. The device for the standard rail can be completely configured with the FINDER app on the smartphone. Once the work is done, the data set is transferred to the time switch by simply placing the smartphone on the device housing. The data transfer also works without a power supply at the timers, because the smartphone itself ensures via induction that the NFC chip is on reception. Consequently, a time switch can be conveniently configured in the office after unpacking and is then immediately installed in the distribution or control cabinet ready programmed.
Astronomical time control: Automated switching at sunrise and sunset by date, time, and location coordinates. Local coordinates can be easily set for 16 European countries by means of the postcode (first 2 digits) or by entering the latitude and longitude. In addition, time-controlled switching off or on within the Astro ON time is possible. Automated switching of the Astro ON and Astro OFF times with selectable time offset at sunrise and sunset by +/- 90 minutes (in 10-minute steps). LCD display with backlight for setup, programming, and status. Internal battery (replaceable) for setup, programming, status, power reserve, and to maintain the program in case of power failure. Summer/winter time changeover preset. Power reserve of 6 years. Safe separation between power supply and contacts. Cadmium-free contact material. For DIN EN 60715 TH35 mounting rail.
