Electronic timer switch with astro program for rail mounting, featuring one changeover contact for 16 A / 250 V AC (AC1). It includes an LCD display and allows for joystick programming or programming via an NFC-enabled smartphone with the Finder Toolbox app (available on Android and iOS). After installing the Finder app, users can read an existing program or create a new program with maximum flexibility. Data transfer is done by touching the timer switch with the smartphone. 

The timer offers astronomical time control through automatic switching at sunrise and sunset using postal code or geographic coordinates, with a selectable time offset for sunrise and sunset, as well as the ability to turn on and off during the astro on-time. The contact material is AgSnO2, with a maximum inrush current of 120 A for 5 ms. It features a pulse function from 1 second to 59 minutes, a shortest switching time of 1 minute, and a maximum switching power at 230 V AC1 of 4000 VA. 

Lamp loads supported include: incandescent and halogen lamps up to 2000 W, energy-saving lamps up to 400 W, LED (230 V AC) up to 400 W, low-voltage halogen lamps or LED with electronic ballast up to 400 W, low-voltage halogen lamps or LED with magnetic ballast up to 800 W, fluorescent lamps with electronic ballast up to 1000 W, and fluorescent lamps with magnetic ballast up to 750 W. There is safe isolation between the power supply and contact.

Switching cycle

With a normal time switch the cycle repeats every 24 hours, with a weekly time switch different switching times can be set individually for each day of the week. The domestic hot water heating could be set with a weekly timer in such a way that it should be heated on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to 11 pm.
Different switching times can be set for each calendar day with a year timer. This means that public holidays or special events can also be taken into account in the settings.
