These two sprouting jars each have a capacity of 1500 ml. Each sprouting jar features a fine mesh sieve and a screw cap made of nickel-free stainless steel. The draining rack is also made of stainless steel, while the white draining bowl is crafted from high-quality ceramic - fired at high temperatures and food-safe glazed. All parts are dishwasher safe.

With this sprouting jar system, you can effortlessly and hygienically grow sprouts without soil: The angled position of the sprouting jars ensures the continuous freshness of the sprouts, as water can drain to avoid waterlogging, and air can circulate (fine mesh sieve). The ceramic bowl catches the draining water, allowing the system to be placed anywhere.

The seeds are soaked, rinsed, and grown in the sprouting jar until harvest. Please note that these sprouting jars are not suitable for mucilaginous seeds. Mucilaginous seeds include cress, arugula, mustard, chia, and flaxseed, which require a resting bed. For these, cress sieves are suitable.

Here's how to do it: Soak the sprouting seeds in water for about 8-12 hours (1 tablespoon for small seeds like alfalfa and radishes, 2-3 tablespoons for larger seeds like mung beans and chickpeas). After that, drain the water and place the jar at an angle. Rinse the sprouts with fresh water twice a day. After rinsing, drain the water again. Place the sprouting jar at an angle once more to allow excess water to drain and air to circulate.

You can harvest after 5-8 days, and for sunflower, chickpea, and lentil sprouts, you can even harvest after just 2-3 days.
