APF is a multi-spectrum coagulation and flocculation agent that contains a unique combination of five active flocculation and coagulation components.

When APF is used in combination with AFM, particles as small as 0.1 micrometers (or 0.0001 mm) can be filtered out.

The consumption of chlorine and the formation of harmful chlorine by-products are reduced.

APF can remove more organic substances than any other classic flocculant. The more organic materials are filtered out, the fewer THMs (trihalomethanes) can form. APF also filters out chlorine-resistant pathogens from the water, such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia.

APF also contains NoPhos. NoPhos is a natural coagulant that removes dissolved phosphates from water. Phosphates are nutrients for algae and bacteria. APF inhibits the growth of these organisms.
