DETEX® sun sails - Robust and durableThe DETEX awnings made from Oxford fabric with their UV50-protection offer natural sun protection as well as protection from harmful UV-rays.HDPE and Oxford fabric are both UV-stabilized and offer 95% shading. Both materials are highly wind and waterproof. HDPE-fabric (High-Density Polyethylene) 275 gr/m² - Oxford-fabric (100% Polyester) 210 gr/m².The sun sails are impregnated and have a water and windproof coating. This coating should always point upwards for optimum protection.When attaching the sail, create a slope of at least 20% to support the waterproof function of the fabric. This ensures optimum water drainage and prevents water pockets.2. The sails have a concave cut (arched, inward looking) to transfer the tension to the outer edges of the sail.
