Detex sun sails, robust and stable in construction. The Detex sun sails made from Oxford fabric provide UV50 protection, offering both natural sunshade and protection against harmful UV rays. HDPE and Oxford fabrics are also UV-stabilized and provide a 95% shading factor. Both materials are highly water-repellent. The HDPE fabric (High-Density Polyethylene) weighs 275 g/m², while the Oxford fabric (100% polyester) weighs 210 g/m². The sun sails are pre-impregnated and have a wind- and water-repellent coating. This coating should always face upwards for optimal protection. Tension the sail with a slope of at least 20% to support the water-repellent function of the fabric. This allows water to drain off and prevents the formation of water pockets. With a concave cut (curved inward), a flawless and clean shape is ensured.
