Build a beautiful log cabin fire or a lovely log cabin. This two-handed field axe with a hickory handle, hot-forged blade, and spike end will make your life easier when you're off the grid. Ryan Johnson from RMJ Tactical designed the Woods Kangee T-Hawk. As a specialist in applying modern technology to centuries-old tool and weapon concepts, he takes it a step further with a tomahawk line as vast as the open wilderness in which they are found. The design for this T-Hawk evolved from the popular and original tactical tomahawk series. However, it is built for combat with a few old Doug Firs. The Woods Kangee is made from a solid piece of 1055 carbon steel, hot-forged into a rock-solid head and finished with a hammer-blow texture. With flat-ground primary and secondary edge bevels, it cuts wood like a beaver. A spike on the opposite end effortlessly splits ultra-hard wood branches. The thick wooden handle is made in the USA from Tennessee hickory. It feels comfortable in hand and is sealed with a lacquer finish that enhances durability when you're in the backcountry—in other words, all the time. Grab the Woods Kangee T-Hawk and split some wood.
