Burnhard Pizza stone

In summer, you heat the pizza stone on the barbecue and host a pizza party instead of a BBQ. In winter, you simply pop it in your oven.The principle is always the same: heat it up on full power for about 20 minutes on the barbecue or approx. 45 minutes in the oven, place the topped pizza on the hot stone and – depending on the toppings and thickness of the dough – bake for around 8 minutes. The pizza stone is made of cordierite. This natural material can withstand high temperatures and retains them for a very long time. Once heated, the cordierite stone distributes the heat evenly. The result: a crispy, evenly baked base – exactly as it should be.
