The pizza stone is made from the natural material cordierite. This stone not only withstands very high temperatures but also retains heat for a long time. Once heated, the cordierite stone distributes heat evenly. The fine pores absorb moisture. The result: crispy, evenly baked dough - just as it should be. After baking and cooling, leftover dough can be easily burned off and removed with a spatula and brush.
