The HSS spiral drill PointTeQ enables fast drilling in metal due to its PointTeQ design at the drill tip. Quick and easy starting is possible because the self-centering tip prevents wandering. With an increased drilling rate, less heat and wear are generated. The PointTeQ design at the drill tip remains sharp and withstands continuous use. This drill is suitable for drilling through holes and center holes in alloyed and unalloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron, and plastic. The risk of breakage is particularly low for drills with a diameter of less than 6 mm, as the shank is highly elastic. The groove coated with black oxide allows for quick removal of chips. The HSS spiral drill PointTeQ complies with DIN 338. The drill type is N (small side cutting angle) with a point angle of 135 degrees.
