The PointTeQ HSS twist drill enables fast drilling in metal due to the PointTeQ design on the drill tip. Fast and easy drilling is possible because the self-centring tip prevents wandering. Less heat and wear is generated due to the increased drilling rate. The PointTeQ design on the drill tip stays sharp and withstands continuous use. This drill is suitable for drilling through and centre holes in alloy and non-alloy steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron and plastic. The risk of breakage is low, especially for drills with a diameter of less than 6 mm, because the shank is highly elastic. The groove coated with black oxide enables quick removal of chips. The PointTeQ HSS twist drill complies with DIN 338. The drill type is N (small side rake angle) with a point angle of 135 degrees.
