Execution: High-strength, free-running HeliCoil®plus threaded inserts made of stainless steel with high wear resistance, low thread friction in tight tolerances, high surface quality, as well as corrosion and heat resistance. The flexible design allows for even load and stress distribution, resulting in durable screw connections of the highest quality for all operational loads (static, dynamic) with ideal force transmission. Simple and quick assembly creates a gage-holding, double-sided usable internal thread. Complete repair kit for one metric thread size in a plastic case. Note: TiCN coated HSS-E-PM machine taps. Suitable limit gages for thread testing. Self-locking inserts, other dimensions, and UNC/UNF thread inserts are available upon request. Delivery includes: 1 spiral drill, 1 pin breaker. Use: For economical repair of damaged or worn threads and as a construction element for thread reinforcement when using materials with low shear strength (e.g., aluminum, aluminum-magnesium alloys).
