Execution: High-strength, free-running HeliCoil®plus thread inserts made of stainless steel with high wear resistance, low thread friction within tight tolerances, high surface quality, as well as corrosion and heat resistance. The flexible design allows for uniform load and stress distribution, resulting in durable screw connections of the highest quality for all operating loads (static, dynamic) with ideal force transmission. Simple and quick installation creates a gauge-holding, double-sided usable internal thread. Complete repair kit for one metric thread size in a plastic case. Note: TiCN coated HSS-E-PM machine taps. Suitable limit gauges for thread testing. Self-locking inserts, other dimensions, and UNC/UNF thread inserts are available upon request. Delivery includes: 1 spiral drill, 1 pin breaker. Use: For economical repair of damaged or worn threads and as a construction element for thread reinforcement when using materials with low shear strength (e.g., aluminum, aluminum-magnesium alloys).
