The Bestway Flowclear sand filter pump is an effective solution for cleaning above-ground pools without the use of chemical additives. It utilizes a natural filtration system, where water is pumped through a tank filled with quartz sand to remove impurities and particles. The integrated ChemConnect chemical dispenser ensures even distribution of chlorine, maintaining a healthy chemical balance in the pool water. A pre-filter basket captures larger particles like leaves and dirt, protecting the pump impeller and ensuring quieter operation of the pump. With a 6-position valve, the pump can be set for various applications such as filtration, backwashing, and water circulation. A built-in timer allows for programming automated operating times, while the top flange clamp design facilitates easy installation. Please note that sand is not included.
