The pre-filter basket additionally filters large particles such as leaves, hair and dirt, thus providing the pump with extra protection. Convenient, pre-assembled product. Includes adapter for pool connections with an outer diameter of 3.2 cm (1.25 inches). Connection to 1.5" (3.8 cm) threaded valves. This product can be used with normal filter sand or with our highly efficient Polysphere filter balls. Fits most set-up pools, sand not included. Required filter sand: approx. 20 kg quartz sand (0.45-0.85 mm). Suitable for pools with 1,100 to 54,500 liters capacity (300-14.400 gal.).
