Fire-coated insulation
2-layer, coloured insulation for keys from 6 mm to 16 mm
3-layer, coloured insulation for keys from 17 mm to 32 mm
For working on energised devices up to 1000 V in accordance with IEC 60900
Made from high-performance steel alloy
Opening tolerance in accordance with ISO 691
2 to 3-layer coating with different colours to indicate application safety: safe, dangerous or very dangerous. A fourth, black layer for additional protection of the handle edges
This provides protection and a visual warning system
If the outer layer is damaged, the lighter colour underneath becomes visible and warns the operator
Each tool is tested for 10 seconds at 10,000 V at the end of the manufacturing process.
