Side cutters developed as part of the ERGO process. ISO 5749. Finish: burnished, rust-protection treated. Material: high-performance steel alloy, ERGO handles with 2-component material, thermoplastic surface on hard polypropylene for optimum grip. Induction hardened cutting edges. Progressive cutting: the cutting radius runs along the edges to cut hard materials like piano wire close to the joint and soft materials like copper and plastic insulated wires at the tip. Bolted joint that ensures excellent cutting performance and accuracy of fit of cutting edges. Distance between joint and cutting edge reduced for maximum cutting capacity with a small opening width of the handle. Slim, rounded jaws for improved access to hard-to-reach areas.
