Product details

HSS-G extended metal drill 8.0 x 305 mm, White 53780. The drill is made of high-speed steel 4241 with a hardness of 62 HRc and a point angle of 118 degrees. Diameter: 8 mm, total length: 305 mm, working length: 210 mm. Straight cut without chamfer correction for manual sharpening, right spiral N-type, cylindrical shank corresponding to the diameter of the drill. The drill surface is coated with an oxide layer that provides a low coefficient of friction and increases drilling efficiency. Complies with DIN 1869 II. Suitable for use with coolant. Recommended coolants: drilling emulsion, cutting oil, ester oil. The use of coolant increases the lifespan of the drill by four times. Designed for workshop use for sintering alloyed steel and carbon steel with a strength of up to 900 N/mm², gray and ductile cast iron, as well as black non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals, and hardened plastics.
