Product details

Drill made of high-speed steel (4241), hardness 62° HRc (+/-2°), point angle 118°, straight cut without chamfer correction, suitable for manual sharpening. Diameter tolerance h8. Right spiral drill with N-helix, hot rolled on forging rolls, characterized by high flexibility and torque, ground cutting edges. Cylindrical shank corresponding to the diameter of the drill. The surface of the drill is coated with an oxide layer that provides a low friction coefficient, reduces the risk of chips sticking to the drill, and increases drilling efficiency. For general use, suitable for alloyed and carbon steel with a hardness of up to 250 Bhn, gray cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and hardened plastics. Complies with the DIN-338 standard. It is recommended to use it together with coolant.
