Extended HSS-G metal drill bit, 10.0 x 340 mm, white. The 53800 drill bit is made of high-speed steel 4241 with a hardness of 62 HRc and a point angle of 118 degrees. The diameter is 10 mm and the total length is 340 mm. It provides a straight cut without chamfer correction and is suitable for hand sharpening of N-type spirals with right-hand threads. The cylindrical shank matches the diameter of the drill bit. The surface of the drill bit is coated with an oxide layer that ensures a low coefficient of friction and increases drilling efficiency. The drill bit complies with DIN 1869 II and is designed for use with coolants. Recommended coolants include drilling emulsions, cutting oils, and ester oils. The use of coolants increases the tool life of the drill bit by four times. It is intended for use in workshops for alloyed and carbon steel with a strength of up to 900 N/mm², gray and ductile cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and hardened plastics.
