Snow and rainwater collect on the cover in winter and can damage both the cover and the pool. When it's cold and wet outside, the pool doesn't immediately come to mind. Then it is easy to forget to remove the collected water and snow.

A winter cushion placed on the surface of the water under the cover ensures that the rain and melt water runs off by itself instead of collecting on the cover in the middle of the pool.

The cushion can be used in all pools up to 30,000 litres in volume and is placed in the middle of the pool. If you have a larger pool, we recommend that you use more than one cushion. This cushion is made of strong PVC material and has solid eyelets at each corner so that it can easily be fixed with a cord.

Matching accessories

In winter, you should use a lockable all-season cover (e.g. art. 2108). Also remember to protect the pool from damage caused by ice pressure building up with winter floats (art. 1613) and to fit an ice guard in the skimmer (art. 1612). It is also a good idea to add a strong deposit inhibitor to the pool water so that it is well protected during the winter (art. 1790).

We recommend that you remove large amounts of snow due to the load.
