HSS Twist Drill - Maykestag DIN338 RN 4.9 mm. This precision-ground twist drill features a short, right-hand cylindrical shank and is designed for industrial drilling in alloyed and unalloyed steels, gray cast iron, copper alloys, nickel silver, graphite, and sintered iron. Its wide flutes and reinforced core allow for a drilling depth that is nearly equal to the length of the drill, ensuring effective chip removal. The point angle is 118°, and the surface is blue-coated starting from a diameter of 1.0 mm. All dimensions from 4.0 mm come with a special grinding "AC." This industrial-quality drill is suitable for NC machines and is characterized by a modern grinding process, while its break resistance is enhanced by CNC-controlled heat treatment.
