Ideal for medium-sized plants.

The side walls have holes at the tips of the outward-facing cones through which the air can penetrate into the root ball.

The inward-facing cones of the side wall force the root in the direction of the outward-facing cones with the air hole.

There, the water content drops and the oxygen content in the substrate rises, so that the cells in the root tip dry out and are, to a certain extent, pruned by air.

The plant's compensatory reaction to this air-induced root pruning is increased root growth. The root tip branches out, resulting in a dense and fine-fibre root network within a very short time.

This favours a firm, radial root ball. This effect means that the plant can absorb a greater proportion of nutrients.

Another advantage is that the higher proportion of air in the root area means that fewer pests colonise or feel at home. The formation of mould is also prevented.

The porosity of the Air-Pot also creates better conditions for bacterial activity and increases the availability of nutrient salts for the plant.

With this high number of roots, which extend all the way to the stem, the root system is very efficient in its absorption of all available water and nutrient salts.

Vital, strong and healthy plants are therefore guaranteed. Thanks to the new and reinforced soil structure, this airpot is ideal for indoor cultivation and can be used with any substrate.
