Question about Intex Mariner 4 Set
Regarding this product, it states: "In principle, all vessels used on public waters require a navigation licence and a control plate." For registration, a corresponding customs clearance certificate is required from customs (form 15.10). Can I therefore assume that the customs clearance certificate is supplied with this boat? Otherwise, registration is practically impossible.
No, the 15.10 customs clearance form required for registration is not supplied, either by Galaxus or by Intex (and I think it would be wise for Galaxus to make this clear). As it stands, it's impossible to add an engine legally (registration is compulsory in this case, anywhere in Switzerland).
I did not receive proof of customs clearance and after ten days the case is still open at Galaxus... :(
That's right, the customs clearance certificate is included.
A little tip about the number plates, you'll get them. Don't even try sticking them on the fuselage or painting them on with a felt-tip pen. Instead, stick them on plastic plates and hang them on the rope running around them.
You will also have to demonstrate the boat - you will have to buy a little extra equipment.
