When we built the Sierra, we aimed to develop the lightest snowboard boot we have ever made, without sacrificing the signature Ride feel of the modern Nidecker boot line. We are excited to announce that the Sierra is 27% lighter than its predecessor. When reducing weight, it all starts with the outsole. For the Sierra, we equipped it with our Gravity sole, made from lightweight, durable EVA. The crampons were shaped in the same way as the rest of our outsoles, drawing inspiration from our playgrounds in the mountains and then adapting them to provide you with maximum grip. The upper part of the boot can be quickly and precisely tightened with a single Boa H4 dial on the tongue. We used Boa's TX3 textile laces to further reduce weight, increase durability, and provide a more natural feel when tightening.
