Cross-country ski poles

Cross-country ski poles give you the necessary push when cross-country skiing. On the trail, they help you push off so that you can get enough momentum. Cross-country ski poles are available for classic or skating cross-country skiing. Poles for the classic style should reach up to armpit height. Skating poles should reach to the chin or tip of the nose. Poles are made of either aluminum, fiberglass, or carbon. The higher quality and lighter the material of the pole, the more expensive it will be. The cross-country ski pole should fit well in the hand. The handle should be slightly curved for this purpose. For the hand straps that provide grip on the wrist, there are systems with Velcro or click system.
