The YC Screw Fix from Yachtcare is a highly effective anaerobic adhesive specifically designed for securing screw and threaded connections. This adhesive cures in the absence of oxygen and in contact with metal, ensuring reliable fixation. After a drying time of approximately 24 hours at 20 °C, the YC Screw Fix provides effective protection against unwanted loosening due to shock or vibration loads. It is suitable for various types of metals such as brass, copper, iron, steel, and bronze, making it a versatile tool for maritime applications. With a viscosity of 2000 to 4000 mPas and a density of 1.04 to 1.08 g/ml, the adhesive is easy to handle and offers strong adhesion. The YC Screw Fix is available in a convenient 10 ml packaging and should be stored in a cool, dry place to ensure a shelf life of up to 12 months.
