Who are the Gladiator Elite Boards suitable for? The SUP boards from the Gladiator Elite series are the right choice for very demanding paddlers. Elite boards are primarily purchased by experienced paddlers who want to upgrade from their previous board and engage in stand-up paddling as a sport.

What distinguishes Gladiator Elite Boards from the Sportime Seegleiter or the boards from the Gladiator Pro and Origin series? The difference lies in the manufacturing process: the Gladiator Elite Boards are lighter. A new Double Layer Woven method is used for the Elite boards, resulting in less material being used in the board. An Elite 126T weighs only 9 kg, while an Origin, for example, weighs 11 kg, making the Elite nearly 20% lighter. For competitive SUP athletes, every kilogram counts, which is why the Gladiator Elite full-carbon paddle weighs only 600 grams.

The edges are reinforced three times and are resistant to collisions. The triple edge reinforcement provides additional stability to the board. The Elite SUP boards sit very firmly in the water, resulting in lower water resistance compared to most other SUP boards.

Gladiator Elite Performance Allround SUP Boards: These boards are designed for paddlers who value performance and speed but do not want to compromise on flexibility. The length and nose shape make these boards fast, while the width and square tail provide stability. One could say that the Performance Allround Boards lie between Allround and Touring Boards. The board is very popular among paddlers who not only want to go on long tours but also desire a more agile board for casual cruising.
