Vakaros Atlas 2 Multifunction Display Race Computer

Multifunctional instrument for the ambitious regatta sailor. No cables are needed as all information comes from the integrated sensors or via Bluetooth from external sensors such as Airmar, Calypso, or Cyclops Marine. It features wireless charging of the battery for a runtime of up to 100 hours.

Display: High contrast, readable in direct sunlight, with a viewing angle of 160 degrees. It has a 4.4-inch LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels at 91 ppi, digits with a height of up to 90 mm in landscape format or 40 mm in portrait format. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass with a thickness of 1.1 mm, features a multi-layer anti-reflective coating, a water-repellent hydrophobic coating, an adaptive red backlight, and an RGB LED array.

Internal sensors include a 2 Hz L1+L5 dual-band, multi-constellation GNSS receiver, a 3-axis compass, a 3-axis inclinometer, a 3-axis accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a temperature sensor, and a barometric pressure sensor.

Functions available are distance to line, time to line, time to burn, race timer, heeling angle, speed, stripchart view, and VMG.

Core measurements include position, speed, course, heel, inclination, barometric pressure, and data logging at 10 Hz.

Power supply and battery: Runtime exceeds 100 hours with an integrated 4600 mAh lithium-ion battery and Qi-compatible wireless charging.

Data storage consists of 256 MB integrated memory, with a runtime of over 100 hours depending on the logging rate.

Connectivity offers wireless compatibility with smartphones and tablets, support for Vakaros wireless sensors, and third-party sensors.

System requirements include an Android or iOS device with internet access for the Vakaros Connect app.

Water resistance exceeds the IP68 standard.
