Steve Caballero Street Reissue

Long 4 - 2.5" Old School Truck Hole Pattern over the Cab Street Artwork: In 1987, street skating became increasingly popular. Steve Caballero was not only an excellent vert skater but also a top contender in street style. Powell-Peralta decided to release an additional Cab deck model specifically for street skating. The artist V.C. Johnson designed a new dragon graphic featuring a bat and bone background. Cab's name was also styled in the shape of a bat, as he was a fan of Batman at the time. The Powell-Peralta logo was created in the Animal Chin font, which was also a hallmark of the era. Originally released: 1987 Artwork by: Vernon Courtlandt Johnson. Powell-Peralta Re-Issue Construction: Powell-Peralta Re-Issue decks are exact reproductions of their 1980s counterparts, featuring the original graphics on the top and bottom, the shape, and the concavity. Manufactured with our partner in Mexico. The material consists of American hard rock maple and glue that meets our specifications and is guaranteed against delamination for the entire lifespan.
