Sport-Thieme Flexibility Measurement Scale: Reliable, easy to attach, and durable. The Sport-Thieme Flexibility Measurement Scale can be mounted on a gym bench, for example. A clamping device is attached to the back of the measurement scale for this purpose. The scale aids in assessing trunk mobility, the flexibility of the posterior muscles, as well as the lower extremities and the long back extensors.

How the trunk flexion test works: The test subject stands on a gym bench and bends the upper body forward as far as possible with legs straight. The hands with outstretched fingers are lowered parallel to the measurement scale. This stretching position is to be held for 2 seconds, and the scale value is read at the lowest point touched by the fingertips.
