The Shimano ULTREAD GE rubber compound is optimized for enduro use, and the special profile ensures reliable pedaling and walking characteristics. The BOA® fit system features an L6 twist lock and plastic protection against unintentional release in the event of collisions with rocks and other trail obstacles. The TORBAL 2.0 torsion midsole offers flexibility on the outsides for excellent control on steep descents and corners. A stiff, carbon-reinforced midsole provides efficient pedaling on connecting stages and climbs. The revised pedal channel runs from the heel to the toe area for excellent SPD stability when unclipped, and ankle protection made of elastic neoprene offers additional protection against gravel and dirt.
