The Shimano ULTREAD GE rubber compound is optimized for enduro use, and the special profile ensures reliable pedaling and walking characteristics. The BOA fitting system features an L6 rotary closure and a plastic guard to prevent accidental loosening during collisions with rocks and other obstacles on the trail. The TORBAL 2.0 torsion midsole provides flexibility at the sides for excellent control on steep descents and turns. A stiff, carbon-reinforced midsole ensures efficient pedaling on connecting trails and climbs. The redesigned pedal channel runs from the heel to the toe area, offering excellent SPD stability when unclipped, while the elastic neoprene ankle guard provides additional protection against gravel and dirt.
