The Shimano ULTREAD GE rubber compound is optimized for enduro use, and the special profile ensures reliable pedaling and walking properties. The BOA closure system features an L6 rotary dial and a plastic guard to prevent accidental loosening during collisions with rocks and other trail obstacles. The TORBAL 2.0 torsion midsole provides flexibility on the sides for excellent control on steep descents and turns. A stiff, carbon-reinforced midsole ensures efficient pedaling on connecting trails and climbs. The redesigned pedal channel runs from the heel to the toe area, offering excellent SPD stability in the unclipped state, while the elastic neoprene ankle guard provides additional protection against gravel and dirt.
