The Shimano ULTREAD GE rubber compound is optimized for enduro use, and its special profile ensures reliable pedaling and walking properties. The BOA closure system features an L6 rotary dial and a plastic guard to prevent accidental loosening during collisions with rocks and other trail obstacles. The TORBAL 2.0 torsion midsole offers flexibility at the sides for excellent control on steep descents and turns. A stiff, carbon-reinforced midsole enhances efficient pedaling on connecting trails and climbs. The redesigned pedal channel runs from the heel to the toe area, providing excellent SPD stability when disengaging, while the elastic neoprene ankle guard offers additional protection against gravel and dirt.
