Salewa Ortles 3L Powertex Pants

In the Dolomites, you can experience some of the most impressive high-alpine routes in the world. The Ortles 3L Powertex pants, developed in collaboration with mountain guides, are a waterproof, breathable solution for challenging conditions and exposed situations.

The Ortles three-layer pants are made from our patented three-layer Powertex weather protection fabric, offering a balanced combination of performance, weight, and durability. They are extremely waterproof, with a water column of 20,000 mm. Under high stress, the breathable membrane (20,000 g/m²/24h) facilitates moisture transport, ensuring a comfortable wearing experience. The athletic fit includes a gusset in the crotch for full freedom of movement and ergonomically shaped knees. The close-fitting lower leg and silicone grippers ensure a good fit over mountain boots or ski boots, keeping the cuffs securely in place and minimizing the risk of getting caught in crampons.

These pants are a Salewa Committed product with an environmentally friendly PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating and are produced according to additional, strict, and independently verified environmental and social standards.
